INTRODUCING IMAGINED SLEEP PRACTICE

My offering of IMAGINED SLEEP practice is heavily influenced by the Dream Yoga 121 teaching I receive from Ben Wolff. It is a culmination of his work, traditional Tibetan Sleep Yoga practices and my history and understanding of what is good from Yoga Nidra.

BENEFITS

IMAGINED SLEEP gives you the power to make profound connection to and shifts in your energy, thinking, feeling and health. It also offers you the chance to be in your body in a way that supports tenderness and care.

EMPOWERMENT

The idea is that with regular practice you can eventually learn the elements of the practice yourself, so you can use them anywhere, anytime. So that if you join me for practice it is for community not to the ‘giving of the practice’.

NOTES ON PRACTICE

You can practice this eyes open, or closed and you can be moving or still.

As I believe in the power of rest, self-care, and kindness I always invite people to practise in a supported shape either lying down, reclining or sitting.
Make sure you are warm and as comfortable as you can be.

You can’t get this practice wrong and however the practice lands with you, difficult to focus, bored, content, rested, there is no right or wrong way to feel it.
It’s a practice and can feel different every time.
